About Chris O'Brien
Chris O'Brien is CURRENTLY The state Capitol reporter at WKRN News 2 in Nashville, Tennessee.
HE GRADUATED FROM the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications, and he is from Rockledge, Florida.
Chris previously worked as a multimedia journalist in Greensboro, North Carolina, with Spectrum News.
Prior to that, he INTERNED WITH THE CBS NEWS INVESTIGATIVE UNIT, WBIR AND WCJB TV20 WHILE ALSO BEING AN ANCHOR/MMJ FOR WUFT IN GAINESVILLE.
outside of work, Chris enjoys all things sports and is an avid fan of THE FLORIDA GATORS AND all Boston professional teams.
Chris is also a big fan of travel, and his next international destinations are ireland, iceland and italy. He also is a huge national parks buff -- he'd like to go to all 63 throughout his lifetime (currently he sits at 12).
